Their original home was said to be near an ocean. This story tells how they crossed Burma, crossing the Tanai River at Tanai Waukrap. He did go on to talk about the Hewa coming as far as Dibrugarh. During that time the American or English people gave that from the Brahmaputra one side would be the Ahom kingdom and the other side would be the Hewa are, and yet another side, the Vijaynagar side, would be for the Adi. He mentions that the Sema and Hewa (Tangsa) were brothers, the Sema was the younger brother and Hewa older brother.
