Artist: Kabu Rita, Quakes Band Vol 2 Title ‘String Paiirap’ Recorded in July 2004 with Chin H Meen Supersound and distributed by CHM & Sons, Port Moresby, NCD. Kabu Rita from Tavui Village, Rabaul District is a founding / core member and lead guitarist of Quakes Band (PNG). Quakes Band was one of PNG’s most successful and enduring popular‑music groups since the 1990s. He has also been lead guitarist for other bands such as Narox and Shutdown, and is frequently cited in band photos and liner‑style notes associated with Quakes’ releases. Quakes Band – Best Hits Vol. 2” release is a compilation of tracks drawn from the band’s existing albums, not a separate studio album. “Iau Todes” “Lulis” (or “Lulu”) “Oro Bay” and other fan‑favorite songs from earlier studio albums.
