| Description: | This is the fifth session of conversations with Mr Asmamaw Guch'alle. He showed pumpkin plants and talked about how to plant and use gourd. We passed by a demolished old house - formerly of his parents. There were some house-hold goods and asmamaw and his wife talked about the various parts and their uses. There was continued exchange with my research assistants on different topics. The meeting was not planned. Mr Asmamaw passed by the house of Mr. Ayyano Aro and invited us to visit his farm as well. Present during the recording were: researcher (Azeb), research assitants (Asmelash and Abboye), mr Asmamaw's wife and his three years old daughter. A friend of Asmamaw joined in half-way. The recording was done using Zoom 4Hn and a video recording was done simultaneously. Unfortunately there was wind and at times the recording is not clearly audible. | |
