| Description: | Question and answer session. The audio and video recordings for this session were made outdoor, in Mr Gezahegn's wood-workshop where he was busy carving a headrest (borkota), the first ever craft that he taught himself. He begins his conversation telling about the wood-workshop that he runs (the only shop making beds, cupboards, boxes, etc. in Dimalle) but he also talks about how his upbringing and difficult early adult years pushed him to his career now. Other than researcher (Azeb) and assitant (Asmelash), there were a large number of ppeople present. Gezahegn's family, friends and passersby were present during the recording but without active engagment in the conversation. | |
