Coverage:Mexico

Description:This is a story about a poor man who pleads to the saints to have money and things. San Pedro says no, because the man is destined to do bad with the money, but San Antonio wants to give him a chance. The man becomes very rich but mistreats the poor against the will of the saints. San Antonio goes to the store dressed as a poor man, and he is chased off by the dogs. San Pedro goes dressed as a rich man. He is invited in to eat. The rich man's wife cooks the food and thinks to herself that they should charge the guest money for the food. This spoils the food, and San Pedro leaves. All of their stuff disappears shortly afterwards. This is another version of the story told by JRM in 2008. Audio duration [00:11:00]
