Description:Recording took place during primary school hours (08:30 AM-03:30 PM) at a primary school in a separate classroom. Recording was done by Gaitrie Ramnandanlal, one of Dorian de Haan her assistants, between 1984-1986.
The task is to retell a story about a boy and his songbird. Together the boy and his bird go to a songbird competition. Unfortunately they do not win. After the match he stops to buy cookies. The boy put down the cage on the streets. The door opens and the bird flies away. Luckily someone catches the bird and gives it to the boy. Together they go home.
Gaitrie Ramnandanlal is an assistant of Dorian de Haan. She is from Sarnami Hindustani origin. She studies clinical psychology in at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands.
This girl is in the last form of primary school. She is of Sarnami Hindustani origin. Same girl as in 10F.
