Description:ENGLISH: Sentences in isolation (or in short dialogues), recorded with a Trumai consultant. Given that the consultant sometimes had difficulties with the questions in Portuguese, she was helped by another person who was fully bilingual. The sentences cover various topics (question and answer, food, greetings, making a request, etc).
The purpose of the project is to document Trumai, a genetically isolate language spoken in Brazil. The archive consists of a collection of texts in the language, plus other kinds of materials relative to the Trumai culture, such as photos, drawings, songs, educational materials, etc.
