This project aims to document the language and culture of Nyagbo, the ethnonym of which is Tutrugbu. Although also referred to officially as Nyagbo (also spelled Nyangbo), one of the groups that speak it prefers that we use the ethnonym. Tutrugbu is a Ghana-Togo Mountain (GTM) language spoken in the Volta Region of Ghana. The project was funded by the NSF Documenting Endangered Language Program from 2006 - October 15, 2009. | ||
